SOTO – Launch new video for “Torn”; On tour in Europe NOW!

SOTO, the modern Heavy Metal / Hard Rock group featuring vocalist Jeff Scott Soto (ex Yngwie Malmsteen /Talisman/ex Journey, Sons Of Apollo, TSO, etc.), continue to promote their recently released third album and InsideOutMusic debut “Origami”.

Currently, on tour across the UK and Europe, SOTO  is now also launching a new video clip directed by Thiago Kiss for the track “Torn”. Check it out here:

Jeff Scott Soto checked in from on the road as follows:
JSS checking in from the Origami tour, we have completed the UK portion already and now digging into the Central Europe leg, so far the reception has been incredible, especially to the new songs and album! 3 more weeks coming up with Scandinavia next then we start working our way south eventually ending all the way down in Athens, we live for this, we look forward to seeing you all out there!”

And Soto further commented about the video clip for “Torn” as follows:
“While we were about to start the EU tour, we asked our video director in Brazil, Thiago Kiss, to whip us up a treatment for another Single from ‘Origami’ called “Torn”. This is an emotional song co-written with drummer Edu Cominato, myself and the same writer as our 1st video Single “HyperMania”, Luiz Portinari. We chose this track as the deep lyrics and theme of the song is a double entendre that could be taken from the crumbling of a relationship between 2 people or the crumbling of society and humanity. In our videos, we try to also portray triple entendre as will be evident in this new clip. Once again, Thiago paints visually stunning lush and cinematic landscapes along with storylines that make you ‘feel’ more than just watch!”

Make sure not to miss SOTO on the remaining shows of their European tour:

Now SOTO are returning under the same umbrella as Sons Of Apollo, having signed with InsideOutMusic. The new album “Origami“ contains material that continues to expand and move the band towards new heights whilst following up with their brand of Power Rock.

Flying Colors Debut New Video for Love Letter

Mike Portnoy:Love Letter shows the pop side of Flying Colors that we always try to incorporate. I love that all 3 of us share the lead vocals on this one: Casey on Verse 1, Neal on Verse 2, myself on the Bridge and all three of us on the Choruses…

The animated video really captures the old psychedelic technicolor pop 60’s & 70’s vibe of the song and is absolutely one my favorite videos I’ve ever been a part of!”

Neal Morse:Love Letter was definitely a labor of love by all of us. I love the shared lead and background vocals and Steve’s guitar solo is great of course. It’s a really nice lighter side of the band especially when compared to some of the heavier things that are on the Third degree record. Very happy with this one! Kudos to Christian Rios for a great psychedelic lyric video!”

DAVID HASSELHOFF Asks The World To “OPEN YOUR EYES!” In A Video For His New Single And Album!

Los Angeles, CA – Although most recognizable for his starring turns in the hit TV shows Knight Rider and Baywatch along with numerous feature film appearances (Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, Kung Fury, Click, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, Dodgeball, and Marvel’s original Nick Fury: Agent Of Shield, among others) and roles on Broadway and the West End in productions of Jekyll & Hyde, Chicago and The Producers, megastar David Hasselhoff is ready to tackle a different role – the role of passionately earnest pop star singing for a new global consciousness in these difficult and troubled times. It’s a role not unfamiliar to Hasselhoff whose historic performance of the chart-topping single “Looking For Freedom” on the rubble of the newly fallen Berlin Wall in 1989 became a rallying cry not just to a reunited Germany but for all of the burgeoning democracies that were swept up in the winds of change.

For his new single, “Open Your Eyes,” Hasselhoff has resurrected a song from that same decade by dark rockers The Lords Of The New Church and brought it into the present where it sounds as fresh and vital as ever. “Open your eyes to the lies right in front of you” goes the chorus, echoing the growing discomfort felt everywhere by today’s media-saturated, politically marginalized population. Hasselhoff sings the refrain with legitimate fury and conviction against a backing track created by producer Adam Hamilton and renowned guitarist for the Stooges, and member of the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, James Williamson. As Hasselhoff says, “I found a very relevant song that tells our story and am very proud to sing our story through this song. ‘Open Your Eyes’ is as relevant today as it was 30 years ago when it was written! Let’s make the world great again!”

To help bring the single to life, Hasselhoff has enlisted the video-making talents of Vicente & Fernando Cordero of Industrialism Films who, along with LA-based artist Dan Dowding of Media Pollution, have crafted a visual representation of the song. The video also leverages the power of social media by incorporating footage of Hoff fans from all over the globe who participated in the #EyesForHoff campaign. The final product is a video-rich in spectacle but also carries its message just as effectively as it entertains.

OPEN YOUR EYES TRACK LIST:
1. Open Your Eyes feat. James Williamson (The Stooges)
2. Head On feat. Elliot Easton (The Cars)
3. I Melt With You feat. Steve Stevens (Billy Idol)
