THE BAND

PETER FALCONER – VOCALS

Peter Falconer is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Hartlepool in the North East of England. Originally a classically trained pianist, he has been playing music for as long as he can remember, and counts Todd Rundgren, Prince and Frank Zappa amongst his biggest influences.  He drinks an absurd amount of tea and speaks bad German.

MATHIEU SPAETER – GUITARS

PAT SANDERS – KEYBOARDS

Pat Sanders has collaborated on a large number of studio and live projects with many talented musicians throughout his career as a performer and song writer. He was part of numerous Rock acts back in France, and one of his most notable contributions is on Progressive Rock band Emeraude’s second record Voyageur. In the mid 90’s, Pat was also one of the founding members of a Jethro Tull tribute band named The Passion Players, a band which he followed on tour in Canada for a year. During his Canadian stint, Pat took time to play keyboards on the debut album of Esoteric Prog outfit Salem. With Drifting Sun, Pat has had the opportunity to work with John Lingwood (Manfred Mann’s Earth Band) and John Keeble (Spandau Ballet). He lives in leafy South Buckinghamshire and drives a death trap.

MANU MICHAEL – BASS

Manu hails from the French Riviera. In the early 90’s he moved to the UK, and enjoyed a long stint in the country, during which time he joined Yorkshire-based Hard Rock outfit Mother Mary. Together, they toured extensively throughout the UK and abroad, and released an album entitled ‘Truth’. Manu has since settled back in the South of France and now divides his time between working as a session bass player and getting his own solo project off the ground. His influences range from Billy Sheehan to Gene Simmons to Steve Harris. He is a perfectionist and prides himself on having recorded all his bass lines in one take (except for the ones that took several attempts).

WILL JONES – DRUMS

Will began collaborating with artists from around the world in 2001. After graduating from music college in 2003 he spent a year with a band in Germany, then formed pop/punk outfit This Is My Honesty in 2006, cutting his teeth as a live performer. Will moved on to join London-based BBC Switch indie favourites Kids Love Lies in 2010, before entering the session world the following year. Will once got lost on the way to the stage at Sheffield City Hall.
