After playing albums of Richard Wright, Eric Woolfson, Warren Zevon and Kayak;

Heroes never Die - Mostly Autumn.

The ways, the ins and outs of heaven still elude us to the and
The tears, the sun the rain, I feel them on my face against my skin
We loved you then, we love you still
And don’t you know, don’t you know that heroes never die,
They sail forever

Slow the rain falls, the memories blowing through
I stand with arms outstretched to catch the warmth of you
Eyes to the heavens, screaming at the skyes
Trying to send you messages, still choking on goodbyes
And I wonder why

Gold November, yellow, brown and green
I try to picture you still somewhere in between
Cold the night falls, shadows drawing in,
The glimpse I had of you is torn into the wind
And I wonder why, tracing paths, we search the stormy sky

The ways, the ins and outs of heaven still elude us to the end
The tears, the sun the rain, I feel them on my face against my skin
We loved you then, we love you still
And don’t you know, don’t you know that heroes never die,
They sail forever

as i understand about the video mentioned above, and the song itself - "Johnny" is inspired by a book by serbian writer Milorad Pavic "The Dictionary Of The Khazars".
It IS a dictionary, in terms of organization of the book, and that gives a reader an opportunity to read the book in different sequence from article to article, thus opening a new meaning every time...
Check the video out - you won't be dissapointed, if you dig that kind of stuff.
I like the New Osada Vida stuff up at their myspace. I need to investigate the album and all. Great songs. Also our member here Pi XPRNC has a fantastic album out. I have been impressed lately by many bands,
In 1976 I first heard of the metal band Judas Priest - I had acquired the single of The Ripper with Island of domination on the B side from a market stall in Romford (near London, UK). Unfortunately I couldn't make the Roundhouse show round about that time but before long they were releasing Sin After Sin and I got to see them with one of my absolute long standing fave bands Magnum supporting at the New Victoria Theatre in London. I loved Magnum's performance and was absolutely blown away by the Priest and Halford's vocals!

They quickly became 'my' band taking over from the incredible Genesis who were busy becoming a pop band. JP now reigned supreme as far as I was concerned - prog was losing at the time I'm sad to say. Then the NWOBHM happened and metal took me over a bit, but I also clung to certain bands such as Yes, Camel, Gabriel's Genesis, etc. Eventually Judas Priest caught the same bug as Genesis and co, following them into popomania (or should I say poopoomania?) with gems such as Take On The World, United and Breaking The Law (with Tim what's his face? from The Goodies - UK 'comedy' show - taking over from Rob Halford on vocals). That was that I'm afraid and I yearned for the Priest of old, pre whips n chains.

From time to time I'd hear improvement in their output but I just lost the interest in anything post worldwide success by them. Halford emerged with his own band Halford - I didn't bat an eyelid. A few years ago they re-emerged with Halford back on vocals, and I heard some stuff and thought yeah that's more Priest, complete with the re-use of the Sad Wings symbol (something I always was fascinated with and had it drawn everywhere). From there I had a moderate interest in where are, but no real great interest. Then they released Nostradamus, which kind of coincided with the release of Spotify.com, and I got to hear the CD one which I thought had really re-captured the soul of JP. From time to time I'd play a track here and there but didn't get time to sit down and hear it out. That is until about 2 weeks ago, and I can't stop playing it! Plenty of keyboards and atmosphere and Halford's vocals are tremendous for someone who sings in that fashion and who is in his late 50s! That's what I'm listening a lot to at the moment, and I've also given the Halford stuff a whirl and wow, what I've heard so far is pretty good - especially the live Priest stuff. And again, what a voice! As a singer he was one of the main influences on me - I even auditioned for Angelwitch with Starbreaker form Sin After Sin, haha! (actually I'd also auditioned for another band called Rocks - from Enfield - singing Cheater form JPs first album Rockarolla...ahhhh memories!).

So basically I've gone full circle at the moment.
i hope to see next show by HALF PAST FOUR
