I was glad to see The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway getting so many mentions. That's the one that stands out to me as well. It was a leap into uncharted territory, both musically and sonically. The lyrics and accompanying story are bizarre, yet they fit perfectly.... and extra points for daring to wear this on stage... lol

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ALBUM red AND THE ALBUM starless and bible black BOTH HAVE THE SAME SONGS EXCEPT FOR ONE??? i'M NOT SAYING THIS TO CRITISIZE IT'S JUST A QUESTION NOBODY CAN GIVE ME AN ANSWER...IT'S JUST LIKE WHY IS THE FIRST ALBUM COVER BY gentle giant THE SAME AS THEIR ALBUM three friends ????

Sometimes I often think that Pawn Hearts by Van Der Graaf Generator is at least one of the best. Robert Fripp does an amazing riff at the end of "A Plauge of Lighthouse Keepers".
