Marco Minneman needs to be added!
The rest of my favorites are already on your list. #1 favorite is Terry Bozzio, #2 is Virgil Donati.
I do miss John Bonham, Keith Moon and Simon Phillips on the list, otherwise this is pretty much it for me! :-)

#1 would be Virgil Donati, followed by Mike Portnoy and Terry Bozzio tied for 2nd.

Markus / DANTE-Keys
Leon Camfield! *runs away*

(he's our drummer :D )
What makes a drummer stand out above the rest to me is if they are totally devoted to their work. I admire drummers who use their kit as a melodic instrument. Virgil and Terry are so amazing to watch...they become one with their kits and it's like nothing else in the world exists. Magical!
That's not to say that I don't have other drummers whom I admire, and reasons I admire them...That's a pretty good list you've started there....:)
This is the most amazing drum solo I have ever seen.

Why no mention of the Late Great John Bonham or Neil Peart, shame on you
Virgil Donati, Mike Portnoy, Mike Guy, Paul Craddick, just to name a few.
I wonder why GAVIN HARRISON is out of the list... please add hime.. he is a dream :-)
You've got to have Charlie Zeleny, weird at times, but can play almost anything!
I think Phil Collins the singer sort of eclipsed Phil Collins the drummer (at least in public opinion), but his work on albums like "Selling England by the Pound" was monumental in the genre.

Bruford, Bozzio, Cobham and Copeland would make my list as well, and I'd add Keith Moon.

I also love Barriemore Barlow (Jethro Tull), Tony WIlliams, Simon Phillips, Steve Gadd, and the guy doing double-bass drum fills before many of us were born, Louie Bellson.

Of course no list is complete imho without Ringo.
In my humble opinion and taste best drummer in these days is the polyrhythm monster Thomas Haake of Meshuggah. I think he got 4 brains, one for every leg and arm. Break at 1:40 is superhuman

I was impressed also by Ron Jarzombek's brother (both in Spastic Ink metal prog combo).

In my old times favourites, first is Stewart Copeland (one of the very few drummers you recognize from first beat), second Bill Bruford. I like very much also Tim Alexander and Brian Mantia (Primus), both quirky and powerful drummers.
I also think Avishai Cohen Trio drummer, Mark Guiliani, is a very very interesting musician.
