#1. Remember, the artists featured are "awesome" in my opinion. I'm just a musician with fussy musical tastes, not the final judge of good or bad. I simply pick what I like & hope others will, too. If I don't feature an artist, it's probably due to one or more of the following: A) I don't enjoy the style even though they may be great within their genre, B) I'm not sophisticated-enough to understand what they're doing, or C) I'm entirely unaware of them.
#2. Make me aware of your existence on Power of Prog(PoP) by sending a Friend Invite, Message, or leaving a Comment on my personal Wall here: powerofprog.com/profile/LenRice (I delete Comments after reading to keep my free download widgets emphasized, so don't interpret this deletion negatively).
#3. But first! Upload as many of your best songs as possible onto your PoP page ordered from best to least or in album order & at a decent mp3 quality such as 192Kbps or greater(up to 20MB each). MP3 is the only supported format for song uploads; others won't play! I'm less-inclined to feature an artist with only one posted song though there may be exceptions. Artists not eligible for feature include those who aren't PoP members, have no songs on their page, predominantly only excerpts, more than one cover, or music that can only be heard by following a link to another site(I'm trying to help grow PoP, not send people away :) Reliable music player widgets hosted by other sites & placed on your PoP page are perfectly fine & highly recommended. Self-promoting messages left on the "Awesome Band" Comment Wall will be removed.

I hope this all seems reasonable. Let me know if you have any questions as it may help further clarify these requirements for others as well. Thanks! Len

Comment by John Sayer on October 26, 2012 at 9:59am Hi Len. Thanks for the invite. Really pleased to see you've found Unitopia - very underrated and in need of some decent airplay. One for you maybe - Stephen Caudel. One of the original artists on the Coda New Age label. A multi-instrumentalist who is now coming back on the scene having taken a break to enjoy his family. Wine Dark Sea is a stand-out, but also Bow of Burning Gold. Managed to see him in London many moons ago - not much info generally although he has just started a FB page. Anyway, enough of me. Cheers, John
