One of my all time favourite bands, led by German writer and producer Frank Bornemann. They have a new CD out this very month November, 2009, there first for 11 years! And from what Frank has told me, it's a return to more classic style Eloy!!!

The January gigs happened as planned and Frank was in fine voice. The gigs were amazing and well attended in the freezing snowy weather. Sound and lights were great and the band and singers were all totally brilliant! Eloy, the Mighty Eloy, live and we all hope they continue to thrill us for many years to come. Frank, we wish you all the best with your Joan D'arc extravaganza and cannot wait to hear/see it!

I was horrified to hear of the accident our lovely friend Frank Bornemann suffered and want to express my deepest good wishes on behalf of all of us here to him. Youre the best Frank!!

THANKS for posting, I was only thinking earlier I wonder if theyre gonna play again cos Steve told me that Frank was planning to and I have been so gutted that I wasnt able to attend the gigs due to various ircumstances but will certainly be heading to Germany in the Spring for these dates! havent had much time to keep up with things. On facebook though I have left a link on the Eloy page there, I only just found out about, for this group and so hopefully we'll get some more bums on seats in here. I also hear, not confirmed to me yet, that my old friend Steve Mann, who I'm now waiting to get back to me with confirmation on Facebook, is playing in the band, as he did some years ago. Hope this is true, as he is one lovely guy and a great player.

I believe that there are still Eloy-Fans out there who do not know about the shows. So please, if anyone here in this group is member of any other music-forum, please spread the news in that forum.
