One of my all time favourite bands, led by German writer and producer Frank Bornemann. They have a new CD out this very month November, 2009, there first for 11 years! And from what Frank has told me, it's a return to more classic style Eloy!!!

The January gigs happened as planned and Frank was in fine voice. The gigs were amazing and well attended in the freezing snowy weather. Sound and lights were great and the band and singers were all totally brilliant! Eloy, the Mighty Eloy, live and we all hope they continue to thrill us for many years to come. Frank, we wish you all the best with your Joan D'arc extravaganza and cannot wait to hear/see it!

I was horrified to hear of the accident our lovely friend Frank Bornemann suffered and want to express my deepest good wishes on behalf of all of us here to him. Youre the best Frank!!

I was there and disappointed but with it rescheduled the chance is there to share that wonderful experience that is Eloy. Not 100% I can make it but really want to as a friend of mine is also playing in Haanover on the 26th. The 23rd to the 27th sounds like a good deal to me but there are complications that prevent me from doing such, but trust me I'm working on it :) Hope to see yous there!

Yea we are coming over, and will be seeing 3 or 4 shows, maybe more, but certainly not less than 3. Probably we will be at Stuttgart and cologne and definitely Frankfurt where we r visiting friends and staying with them. And maybe Berlin, which we want to do but at the moment arent sure aobut the expense and distances to travel etc. Where are u based Robin, maybe its in or near one of these cities? how will you be getting around...driving? if you fancey going to any of the shows with us we could maybe travel together etc, especially as your English is so good and out German isnt so good mein freund :) Also we maybe in need of somewhere to stay, the more expense we can keep down the better as we are on a very tight budget. Comment by Eloymania on May 24, 2012 at 6:22pm: Unfortunately Frank's recovery is not going as fast as expected and the Nearfest appearance had to be cancelled. The show in Hannover had to be postponed to Oct 3rd.

Bad news, I know. Let's hope that in Septermber everything will be going well.
