Apparently Spiral had an EP entitled Under the Cold and a follow up full release in 2009 entitled Urban Fable. It was the apparently voted "Polish A;bum of the Year 2009".
The band has a my space page here:http://www.myspace.com/spiralpl and are offering their Under the Cold EP as a free download via rapidshare. THey also can be heard on Last.fm
They are fronted by female singer Urszula Wójcik who is quite captivating, sings in English.

I've seen them live last month supporting Disperse (http://www.myspace.com/disperseband) and frankly they didn't leave much of an impression on me, but as they say de gustibus non est disputandum.

Here's a rough translation of their press kit:

"Spiral" is a Polish band performing progressive rock with post-rock, trip hop, metal and electronics elements. The band was formed in 2004 in Rzeszów by Mateusz Mazur, Michał Karniłowicz and Filip Śmigiel, but they showed little activity 'till 2006. In the past the band's line-up has been amended numerous times. Since early 2007 the line-up is as follows:
Urszula Wójcik – vocals
Mateusz Mazur - guitar
Grzegorz Kyc – guitar
Brunon Lubas – bass
Filip Śmigiel – drums
Maciej Zeman - electronics

In September 2009 the band released their debut album entitled "The Urban Fable", which was well received by music critics and fans. Album's first single ("It's gone") quickly got to the third place of Antyradio (Polish rock radio) charts. Early 2010 bear fruit in another success, "Urban Fable" won Antyradio poll for the "Polish album of the year 2009". While working on the "Urban Fable" the band has established close cooperation with the instrumentalist and music producer Maciej "OCCID" Zeman, with whom the band currently performs.

- Second prize in rock review "Reszowskie Bulwary 2005" (Reszów Boulevard 2005)
- First prize (Internet users votes) in online review "Slimp3 underground"
