ELECTRUM PRODUCTION - Discovered a newer Polish Prog Label I did not know of

ELECTRUM PRODUCTION is a new music label that was born in October 2009. Music interests and passion for discovering new sounds led its owners to live their dream and to search for young bands that deserve special attention on difficult and crowded music market. The sole purpose of finding true gems within mostly progressive music scene in Poland, the one that is since Riverside, Satellite, Quidam and Votum worldwide success considered to be really worth digging deeper into, led to signing several bands. First was the incredibly talented progressive rock 5-piece ACUTE MIND, soon after the intriguing progmetal QUBE, followed by fantastic folk/epic CIRCLE OF BARDS and finally MR.GIL – neoprogressive band set by Collage and Believe mastermind, Mirek Gil. With such acts in their rooster, success was imminent. Polish most important radio station TRÓJKA soon aired Acute Mind and other releases and the first band entered top playlist in autumn 2010. Fantastic reviews in press and internet followed – and since the label got more and more signs that their musical taste is much appreciated worldwide, ELECTRUM PRODUCTION decided to begin new musical journey and offer their catalogue for distribution. Since January 2011 most of Electrum Production releases will be distributed worldwide by Twilight Distribution.
