Galleon's ninth album (and only the second without a terrible sleeve design) is In the Wake of the Moon, one of the two inaugural releases on brand new Swedish Prog label Aerodynamic. Here's the…Continue

Fantastic Swedish band. Their latest album Tardigrade is definitely one of my top 5 Swedish prog albums of all time.  Continue

If you wonder what their odd-looking name actually means, the answer is...nothing. It's "fjällräven" backwards, which roughly means "the mountain fox" and is also the brand name of a Swedish outdoor…Continue

Hi there. Supernal Endgame loves Swedish prog so much that we covered TFK's "The Flower King" and the Swedish maestro himself, Roine Stolt played on our album (check out the lead at the beginning of Montage 1 on our page).

Some of our favorite Swedish bands include Moon Safari, A.C.T, Beardfish, Kaipa, Karmakanic, Ritual, Brother Ape, and of course TFK and their extended family of side projects.  There must be something in the water in Sweden!

Here's a test. The complete 20+-minute track The Harvest from Brighteye Brison's fantastic 2008 album Believers and Deceivers. This is completely legal, by the way - progress Records has made this available as a very generous taster of an album you really should all own.

From what I know IB are about to release a new album - a live one I think. don't quote me on that, though.

My favourite two Swedish Proggers have to be Pain of Salvation and Moon Safari. Two completely different bands, but both with extraordinary musicians and vocalists.
