Churn Milk Joan - Black and Ginger

Churn Milk Joan - Black and Ginger
Self Released

I have a soft spot for the quirky and eclectic, and this one hits it perfectly.   It’s another collaboration between American musician Richard Knutson and his English counterpart Colin Robinson (Big Block 454). Recorded in early 2012 at the Big Block 454 studios in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, it is full of delightfully eccentric, rhythmic grooves which underpin seemingly haphazard yet strangely beguiling musical interludes.  Punky electronica anyone?  If you like Big Block 454, you may well find this album interesting. Have a listen – and as usual, you choose the price for the download, remembering that all funds go to producing the next release.  DP
