When Friends Come Out to Play - When Friends Come Out to Play
Melodic Revolution Records

Native New Yorker Steve Rosenburg grew up in the Bronx & Queens, and whilst resident on Long Island, played in several bands with Lee Rocker, future founding member of the rockabilly "Stray Cats".  After second fiddle (so to speak) playing on other artists’ work, Steve has realised his ambition and desire to put out his own work, with the help of his friends.  Released September 2011, these seven varied tracks emphasise his versatility, from rock through jazz and jam to rockabilly , with a pleasantly homely feel that emphasises the CD’s mood and meaning (dedicated to the late William Purlo who performed bass on "Dreams" as well as recorded 3 songs in his studio before his passing). It’s a short and sweet personal celebration of friendship through song.  DP
