Just off the presses, Cassandra's Curse (CC) has just released their 10 track LP entitled "False Flag". With rumors flying that this CD would be mixed with Progressive Rock, Metal, Alternative, and Jazz, CC made sure that all the rumors were laid to rest and true.
The band is currently promoting to the fullest and rife with enthusiasm to start local and national touring.
Cassandra's Curse was formed in June 2007 when Nick, who had been playing his drums since 1993, placed an ad looking for someone who was into Prog Rock. Charan, with his 7 years experience, wasted no time in setting up a meet and greet and the duo met in infamous Deep Ellum to exchange muscial woes. Soon after a bass player followed. However in May of 2008 they lost him due to a serious case, of what the band calls, "walking yokotitist". It was real hard to watch, said Nick.
While surfing the net the band stumbled onto an ad placed by Joe "The Blade" Sharp and his 15 yrs. exp. The two quickly saw his insatiable talent and asked him to join CC.
The three went into the studio in February of 2009 and has been busy playing shows every month.
Things look long and fantastic for these three charismatic young lads.
