Olivia H. said… It wasn't such a neat school really at all...and only for a short time..pretty rural in Greece...probably more than Oregon. I haven't had much schooling generally.
Olivia H. said… Interesting....your song "Archimedes circle". One of the first instruments (required) I was taught in music school in Greece was an ancient lute tabouras a Turkish form of the Greek pandoura on which we learned many Byzantine songs and ancient chants and poems and various ancient Greek scales and meters. It was required for an entire year! before we could even touch our guitars or other more modern instruments.
Olivia H. said… Thank you David. How long have I been writing? Well...not 40 years experience like you :) but 9....since I was 15.
Fabrizio Pomata said… Hello David! It is always nice to hear that someone took a bit of his time to listen to us and, even more, liked our music! Specially coming from someone with your musical profile (40 years composing, wow!), thanks!
Lobate Scarp said… Oh cool! I will have to check our SoHo Nights! Acuña is most famous for being in Weather Report. Check out their 1977 album, "Heavy Weather". Most fans say it's their best album. It's pretty great. He plays on the first track of our album. You can play it on our page... it's our 15 min one, "Time and Space"
Jace Fuller said… Hey David, I enjoyed Cry For Eden. There pretty good. Also enjoyed listening to some of your stuff. I think the first thing I always try to find out when I listen to something your playing or have done is what time signature are you playing in.
David, really enjoyed your music...thanks for posting.
