"What kind of bass is that? It looks a lot like my DR Heartfield five string but mine says "DR" where yours says "LTD"."

Biography
I am a composer and have been working on several musical ideas over the last few years. I've been composing for about 40 years, but only recently have come across a set up that really works well for me. I like to compose in a progressive style. I like electronica as well, but a little more old school like Jean-Michel Jarre's style. I am not a virtuoso and really compose music that somewhat avoids that sense about it. I like my music to be more reachable rather than grandstanding. I love to compose in odd meters and with cool delays in a cyclical and algorithmic way. I also like baroque type metal and classical in general especially Dvořak, Holst and Shostakovich. I like ethnic and some latin, but not so much the blues and straight rock. Art rock groups that influenced me are Yes, Rush, Kansas, Jethro Tull, Genesis (older) and UK. Harmonic minor is one of my favorite modes to compose in. I also like epic and anthemic sounding pieces.
Influences or Favorite Bands
Rush, Yes, Kansas, Jethro Tull, JS Bach, Shostakovitch, Dvorak, Maire Brennan, White Heart, UK, Eddie Jobson, Peter Gabriel, King Crimson, Alan Holdsworth, Flagship, Seven Angels, Tomita, Bernard Hermann, Hans Zimmer, Dixie Dregs, Cairo, Lost World Band (newer), Simon Phillips, some Brian May.

It wasn't such a neat school really at all...and only for a short time..pretty rural in Greece...probably more than Oregon. I haven't had much schooling generally.

Interesting....your song "Archimedes circle".  One of the first instruments (required) I was taught in music school in Greece was an ancient lute tabouras a Turkish form of the Greek pandoura on which we learned many Byzantine songs and ancient chants and poems and various ancient Greek scales and meters.  It was required for an entire year! before we could even touch our guitars or other more modern instruments.

Hey David, I enjoyed Cry For Eden. There pretty good. Also enjoyed listening to some of your stuff. I think the first thing I always try to find out when I listen to something your playing or have done is what time signature are you playing in.
