Porcupine Tree - Manchester Academy

Went to see Porcupine Tree in Manchester for their performance of "The Incident" plus other classic PT tracks. They are a marvellous prog band.

Not sure why "The Incident" is one track as it doesn't hang together like other epic tracks I've heard. Nonetheless the individual parts do rock.

Not happy that the band requested no photography or that T shirts were £20. Are they getting to big for their boots?

I try never to say I believe x is the best band, y is the best guitarist etc., Not just because I’m not a musician and don’t really know what skills are involved in playing the instruments but I truly think music is so subjective it cannot be measured in this way.

I do know what I like and usually try and say this is my favourite, rather than what I believe to be the best.
