One of my all time favourite bands, led by German writer and producer Frank Bornemann. They have a new CD out this very month November, 2009, there first for 11 years! And from what Frank has told me, it's a return to more classic style Eloy!!!

When Was Your First Eloy Moment?

My earliest memory of Eloy must have been in 1977 when a DJ I knew played a track from Inside at a rock club in London. I remember seeing the sleeve and the name rang and stuck with me until I had my first real significant encounter with the band around 81/82. A guitarist from the metal band Rampant that I was in at the time had got into them and gave me a tape of Eloy Live, which blew my mind with its wonderful atmosphere and energy. I was looking for an ARP Quadra, but the prices are just mental - I saw one recently in A1 shape but he wanted £4K - No way !! - at least not for me at that price !!
