Profile Information

I am the following; a
Band, Musician, Song Writer, Recording Studio, Producer, Engineer, Graphic Artist, Web Designer
Style of Prog
Art Rock, Neo-Prog, Progressive Rock, Psychedelic Rock
Biography
Lead vocalist, composer, guitars, keyboards, and synthesis
Others: Sound Engineer
Since I was a little child, music brought to me an entire space where I could grow, hide, dream, where I could build my own world. Music of all kinds was making echoes in my head and my soul… Classical music, folk, Venezuelan folkloric music, latin, disco music… very good music, indeed. My mom and dad usually had very good taste on their selection of “vinyls”. I always listened to them but suddenly some vibrations called my attention immediately.
That was Rock.
Psychedelic, symphonic, and progressive rock sounds left a mark inside of me. I did not know how to name it then, but I embraced them: King Crimson, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Frank Zappa, Van der Graaf Generator, Queen, Cream, Genesis, Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Janis Joplin… I always spread my wings and let myself go…
π XPRNC, know MANTRAM, was for me a metaphor about human thought and its possibilities, about the soul, the spirit and its reach, that from my point of view, are infinite. Human capacity to grow, to change and develop within a chaotic work that inundates us with preconceived ideas is our true capacity to transform ourselves. This ability to change and my never-ending search of my inner self are the base for my lyrics.
My music is very expressive… a mix of rhythms and melodies from the world, framed within a very strong and melodic rock. It is a journey across sensations, expressions and the existence of being. It is an artistic translation of feelings and experiences.
Influences or Favorite Bands
King Crimson, David Torn, Pink Floyd, and many more...
