Biography: The band was born in September 2005, when Claudio Colombo,drummer, together with Keyboarders Beppe Colombo and Corrado Grappeggia, decided to start a musical project based on progressive rock of the 1970s, beginning to write his own music but inspired by music groups as the Genesis, Yes, P. F. M, New Trolls, Dream Theater, etc....

So, the Pandora begin as a group dedicated to the composition of pieces in key progressive giving life to the first large pieces that give vent to fantasy and the research of sounds and melodies. They show the harmony of a group that combines emerging progressive Beppe's experience, the musical culture and composition of Corrado and the talent of Claudio, bringing to the birth of a route that finds its natural outlet from the point of artistic view that recording.

The band is open to cooperation with many musicians to ensure that their musical project entries to a good conclusion. In the first years, these collaborations, will not lead mainly positive results for the inconsistencies of the ideas music, but the project of Pandora go on and it is decided to give life to some acoustic concerts pretty successful that force the group to continue.

So begins the recent history of the band: in February 2008 after several concerts the Pandora sign their first recording contract with the record label Milanese AMS-BTF specialised in the production and distribution of progressive rock, in the same month joins the band the young, talented guitar player Christian Dimasi.

In 2008, the group register their first CD entitled "Dramma di un Poeta Ubriaco "; it contains original songs that represent the path of Pandora's project. Within are not "Simple songs" but, through an accourate research and care of particular, the group wanted to explore various expressions of progressive rock: from hard rock to medieval compositions, jazz and symphonic melodies that inspire large fabulous events and infinites of soul with texts strictly in Italian that go between the personal problems of all of us to the fantasy stories inspired by the symbol of Pandora's box.

The objective of the group has been to create music with an harmonic and original sound leaving the schemes that most of the music today has, avoiding the trivial and the foreseeable. The band has tried to reproduce sound of the past in a modern key, trying to highlight the importance of music that is set aside today many times in favour of commerce.
