ProgressoR is a 3-man crew of enthusiasts. We do our best to review and post the results in a timely fashion, but we do have other, external obligations.
Please read the following guidelines before submitting your material for reviewing:
Any recording with complex music should be sent to this address:
PO Box 4065
All other recordings should be sent to:

Please include any supporting material and contact details.
If you have a new release or forthcoming shows, please email any relevant newsletters to the address above, and we will publish them on the site.
Our Review Policy:
ProgressoR will only review CD/DVD/CD-Rs that fall into the Progressive Rock category. The progressive genres and sub-genres that we particularly welcome are as follows:... Art-Rock (Sympho Prog) / Jazz-Fusion / RIO (Rock In Opposition) / Prog-Metal / Fifth Element (New Prog) / Zeuhl, Avant-garde Jazz / Chamber, Avant-garde Prog / Space Rock, -Fusion, -Metal / Techno-, Doom-, Cathedral-, Extreme Metal / Classical-, Neoclassical-, Avant-garde Academic Music.
We will only review CD/DVD/CD-Rs that are available for sale to the general public, either through a distributor or a website. Sorry, we will not review MP3s (etc) or demo CD-Rs either. However we accept Demos for our consideration for possible release via one of the labels that we represent in Russia/CIS (Musea and MALS). Such demos should also be sent to the above address. Homemade promo CD-Rs of poor sound quality will not be reviewed either (some of them even turn out to be unrecognizable by our CD players, which display a "NO DISC" message when they are inserted). In addition, we apologize that we are unable to return any CDs or material sent to us, whether reviewed or not.
We try to review all received material as soon as possible, and a review update normally appears every four weeks with 20 in-depth, analytical reviews. If we receive two copies of a CD, we will arrange a dual review. Because of the large number of albums we receive, we normally do not confirm receipt of CDs. However, we routinely add the titles of new arrivals to the list of Forthcoming Reviews. If your email address is mentioned in the CD press kit or booklet, we will always e-mail you when we upload your review. Only, please note that, depending on the current workload (and also due to our careful attitude towards each recording under review), it may take 3-4 months for Olav and several months for Vitaly before your review is published.
We are sorry if our policy doesn't meet your expectations, but that's the way it has to be:-).

If the quality of music shows you listen to matter, then check out my shows on House of Prog every Tuesday when I spin some of the best new vinyl. Yes vinyl! Because music should flow not be compressed.
Attention Bands... Do you have a vinyl release and want to be featured and played on my shows?
