Style of Prog
Art Rock, Symphonic Rock, New Prog, Progressive Christian, Also a fan of other genres of music
I started playing a used beat-up Stage73 Rhodes electric piano as a Senior in highschool because I could not afford a CP70. I was a big fan of Prog music before I even knew what prog rock was. Later I bought a Moog Prodigy becuase I couldn't afford a Mini, but wrote and played original music with friends. I became a Christian soon after high school and played for church and with Christian rock bands. Wanting to do more progressive style though I am self-taught and limited technically, I still enjoy writing in that style. I have played in the studio, have my own and record with other artisits. I am finishing a CD with some friends that will be released soon I hope. The band is Time Horizon and it is Cprog. www.myspace.com/timehorizonmusic
One song has been released on a CD produced by Randy George of Ajalon and Neal Morse CPR3. For more info on the artisits see www.cprogrock.com
Influences or Favorite Bands
My first influence was Kieth Emerson. I saw ELP in Oakland, CA in 1977-79, and knew I wanted to play keys. Bands that also infuenced me were Yes, UK, Styx, Camel also bands Jethro Tull, Queen and later Asia and Dream Theatre. Which I have all seen. The New Prog scene started for me with Spocks Beard and I keep finding new stuff all the time.
Ralph uses Ivories softsynth for piano, a Roland VK8 and B4 for organs, Korg, and Roland physical modeling analog synths as well as minimoog soft synth, EMU synths and East West and Atmoshere soft synths for samples.
I use Digital Performer for Midi and audio recording and ADAT

Thanks Ralph! Very kind words. We have not been on any of the CPR albums. We finished a little too late for the third one. But Randy George (he played on our album) said that if a fourth CPR album is released, we should be on it. We are on that page you sent as a link. We were also on Thundersongs before we signed with Progrock.
