Profile Information

I am the following; a: Fan of Music, Band, Musician

Style of Prog: Symphonic Rock, Progressive Metal, Also a fan of other genres of music

Biography: AREA 39 are a 5/6 piece concept/prog rock band based in Leeds.

Consisting of 2 guitars, drums, bass, keys and vocals the band are full of energy with powerful melodies, strong rhythms and music full of emotions and feelings.

AREA 39 offers a very original sound but with a touch of something most concept/prog rock music lovers can recognise.

AREA 39 released the debut album Stand Alone Together which gained radio airplay and reviews worldwide this was then followed by a few small gigs in the north of the UK, since then the band have taken time to create new tracks and perfect a live sound which the band now feels ready to bring to the stage.

Influences or Favorite Bands: The Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, Marillion, Film music, Neil Diamond, David Gilmour, Ozrics, Megadeth.

AREA 39 are now booking UK live dates for Feb, March and April 2010.

All dates are been added to the official myspace page at www.myspace.com/area39

Keep checking back as more dates will be added over the coming weeks.
