Biography
Art is about making choices.

Progressive Rock is about making unorthodox choices. It’s not about virtuosity, technical flash, extended song length or bombast. It’s about choosing the other option, about heading into uncharted waters, about unearthing the unheard.

To this end, the members of Somewhere have united across generational divides to create music that spans the ages, not only the three decades between the oldest and youngest band members, but also the time from when Progressive Rock first appeared to today.

The spirit of invention and innovation that once lead to so many diverse and fundamentally different acts being bundled together under the umbrella of Prog is alive and well in Somewhere.

This is not a watered down version of former glories, nor is it mainstream Pop or AOR dressed up with structural finery to appear more sophisticated and complex. This is music that comes from the heart as well as from the mind. This is Somewhere.

Members:

Fredrik Cerha: guitar/Chapman stick/vocals, Jacob Leo Hartman: keyboards/vocals, Paul Näsström:drums/percussion/vocals, Mattias Rossipal: bass guitar/guitar/Chapman stick/keyboards/vocals, John E Thelin: vocals/percussion/keyboards

I admit Element of Energy is a bit over the top but that's why we feature something different each week, there is something for everyone on the 7th day fro 70's art rock to modern symphonic prog metal. Tune in next week and you will see.
