Profile Information

I am the following; a: Band

Style of Prog: Progressive Metal

Biography: The Spotless Mind was founded in August 2009 by musicians from a band called Lojalny Tony afer it had collapsed. Drummer, Tomasz Hoffman and guitar player, Paweł “Muzyk” Świniarski, both fascinated by Rush (neoprogressive band from Canada), decided to combine their inspirations. This led them to The Spotless Mind. Name of the group was taken from Michel Gondry..s movie “Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind”. Bassist, Tomasz “Breko” Breczko, was next member who joined them. But it wasn’t the end. Boys felt that something was missing. After a couple of weeks of intense search they found a synthesizer player, keyboardist and composer Rafał Wawrzyk who gave a distinct taste to their music. They played their first gig on december 6th 2009. On March 4th the group recorded a demo material in Bydgoszcz by courtesy of Radio Pik.

Influences or Favorite Bands: Rush, Porcupine Tree, Faith No More, Devin Townsend, Fates Warning, Tool
