- Originally from Rhode Island (now in Tucson, AZ)USA, The Minstrel's Ghost is Blake Carpenter. A well rounded singer/songwriter/musician with a multitude of influences ranging from classical to metal and spanning all genres in between. His favorite styles of music are those that showcase drive and talent. Writing in styles from folk to classic prog and hard rock/heavy metal The Minstrel's Ghost's first solo CD titled Dream Things True will showcase much of this.

Hi Blake, had a visit to your website. Interesting biography, some similarities to my own. Funny, we both use a "bandname" for a more or less one-man-thing. Had a listen to your album, which is well done. It sound tight! The forest song is really my cup of tea, but the album has a good flow over all. I'm not so much into the heavier parts, but that's a matter of taste. You seem to be good musician with a whole range of skills. Far better than mine, as I'm more a singer in first place.
