Style of Prog: Crossover Prog

Biography: The New Earth Project are a duo of two brothers, Mark and Randy Horton. Mark handles drums, percussion, mallets, keyboards and voice while Randy covers guitars, woodwinds, keyboards and voice. They record and produce all of the sounds themselves in their home studios. Their concept is simple; a blending of organic and electronic sounds. A meeting of earth and technology in a way that is both unique and accessible.

Influences or Favorite Bands: Genesis, King Crimson, Yes, Pink Floyd, Kansas, VanDerGraaf Generator, Rush, Peter Gabriel, Queen, Steve Hackett, The Sweet, The Mars Volta, Minus the Bear, Coheed and Cambria
