"Steve, Yes, FLAC is a lossless compression format.  What audio format did you record and mix with before creating the final 16-bit/44.1kHz CD format files (e.g., 24-bit/96kHz)?  "

Hey Tom! Looking at your Influences/and Favorite bands. I dig everything on there (Yes is my favorite in the Universe!), but I am completely unfamiliar with Gungor. Any album I suggest I check out first?

Hi Tom;

  Thanks so much for the comments. I just joined this site today and set up house. With track 8 (Birthright), I think you have it right. It's almost a cross between 'Soon, Oh Soon' and the 'Supper's Ready' finale, especially in the way that they follow more intense, disquieting sections.

 Regarding the FLAC format, my understanding is that they are completely lossless and can be converted back to CD audio. In my case, I uploaded the same files (in 16-bit AIFF format) that went onto the CD.
