Style of Prog: Art Rock, Avant-Prog, Neo-Prog, Progressive Folk, Progressive Rock, New Prog, Progressive Electronic

Biography: Germany based Art-pop-outfit "starfish64" was formed in 2006 by singer-songwriter Dieter Hoffmann and has since been accompanied by various musicians from all over europe. After extensive touring in 2007 - 2008 with Hoffmanns buddy "kass|ühlke", starfish64 turned more into a "recording"-act than a band. As of now Hoffmann is working on his 4th yet untitled album, to be released in 2012

Influences or Favorite Bands: all kinds of bands and artists from various genres, such as Genesis, Waterboys, Nick Drake, David Sylvian...
just to mention a few.
