- Prog was all I heard growing up since that was what my older Brother was into. My Dad was a classical musician (he actually played french horn on Frank Zappa's Freak Out and Lumpy Gravy albums), which I think helped my appreciation of this style of music.

- Early favorites: King Crimson, UK, ELP, Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Steve Hackett, Anthony Phillips, Brand X. Synergy, Moody Blues, Yes, Rush, Mike Oldfield, Alan Parsons Project, Pink Floyd, David Gilmour, David Bowie, Solution, Supertramp, Marillion
