The Reasoning's plans for 2010

Hi folks!

Well: it’s news o'clock! We write with an update, then, to let you know that The Reasoning are travelling at full tilt towards a bombastically busy 2010…and beyond.

We’re incredibly proud of everything we have achieved with both Awakening and Dark Angel. The albums represent wonderful periods of our lives, but we are now in the process of creating something new and exciting, and the new material is shaping up to be our very best yet. Amidst a hectic writing… Continue

Fish 2009 - A Drunk Man Stares at a Thistle

Dear FishHeads, Freaks, fans and the Company,

The log fires are on earlier every day and the darkness is numbing.

Tonight in St Mary's church in Haddington I will be reading Edwin Muir's poem, "Horses" as part of the Saltire Event that is taking place throughout the day in East Lothian.…

Self-Chosen

When all light is fading when all secrets die in pain

There`s no room to innovate, there`s no room to contemplate

Just to fear the answer

No questions asked and no offense

Just to fear the answer to

IVORY FOREST News and Album info...

www.myspace.com/ivoryforest1

Well, after almost 2 years we are finally near complete with the first album. I have finished structuring and recording the guitars and some of the keyboards for the 6 songs that will appear on the album. Each song is 10 to 16 minutes long, and the whole album is just about 80 minutes long. We have found a guy named Terry Michaels to help us out on keyboards for the first album, and he is a fantastic… Continue

Kingsreach in search of drummer and guitarist

Guitarist and drummer required to complete line-up of a very original sounding prog band influenced by Yes, Eloy, Kamelot, Jethro Tull, ELP, Magnum, DreamTheater, Rush, Nightwish, Kansas and others. Our unique blend of fast, mid, slow, hard, soft, ambient and everything inbetween, music; laced with virtuoso playing, solid and dynamic rythm section, complete with high profile vocal harmonies, is a sound not to be missed - but we're getting fucking old… Continue

Review from Ulf Backstrøm from MERLINPROG.COM

From Caracas there comes πXPRNC, which is led by Karen Gonzalez. She, in addition to being very good at synthesis, guitars and vocals, is also the woman behind all composition, lyrics, production... On this debut, we will have a music that is quite original but definitely progressive, and which is also melodic, aforethought and with great dynamics. It is modeled from many musical clays,… Continue
