PROGRESSIVE ROCK VETERANS, FROM SWEDEN, TEAMS UP, WITH THE FUTURE OF AMERICAN PROGRESSIVE!  

AGENTS OF MERCY, from Sweden, led by guitarist ROINE STOLT ( Known to the prog audience as the lead guitarist in TRANSATLANTIC, with drummer MIKE PORTNOY, PETE TREWAVAS, etc. ) with 30 years of recording and more than 250 albums throughout his career, teamed up with DISTRICT 97, from Chicago, for selected shows in the United States midwest & east-coast, for an evening of the most vital and melodic contemporary progressive rock alive.

Labeled as " THE FUTURE OF PROG-ROCK, " the bands will both play music from their latest albums, " DRAMARAMA, " ( AOM ) and " HYBRID CHILD, " ( D97 ) displaying both monster chops and grooves with epic bombasm and melody. Those are some of the finest musicians in the current progressive rock scene, that need no presentation to the initiated prog crowd.

Those musicians, from both bands, have been hailed, by most of the 70's original progressive stars, from the bands YES, GENESIS, EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER, KING CRIMSON, and FOCUS.   

Both bands have spectacular leadsingers, who played their part well.  AGENT OF MERCY'S legendary vocalist, NAD SYLVAN, was compared to both PHIL COLLINS and PETER GABRIEL, with the theatrical presentation of pure 70's rock-drama, while DISTRICT 97'S young LESILE HUNT, who was one of the finalists in 2007'S AMERICAN IDOL, has a voice and stage presence of a seasoned veteran, but with vital energy of a punk rocker and mirror avant garde rockers like ZAPPA MOTHERS.

The bands will share stage and treat you to some of the best 3 hours of live music and zany " TAKE NO PRISONERS, " fusion & pop, that you'll ever hear on the planet.
