Thanks for the welcome! I've already discovered some cool music and this has really opened up a world for that I wish had been around for years. I was feeling pretty isolated. I knew others were out there that pursued these types of styles and tastes, but I always had a hard time finding them. I was re-encouraged a little while back when I was pleasantly surprised at how many people showed up at the UK concert in Portland. What a great concert getting to Eddie Jobson, Terry Bozzio and John Wetton perform some classic prog rock. But then it seemed to dissipate. So it is great to run into this site. I hope to make and keep some sense of permanence in pursuing this dream of working and knowing others who have a love for this direction of musical and artistic expression.
