"Pulse Rift" by Len Rice (audio only)

"Pulse Rift" began as a keyboard 'riff', or repeated muscial pattern, using a sound called a 'pulse' wave which moves the air to our ears in a repeating, rectangularly-shaped pattern, see pic(unlike the shape of smooth, curving 'sine' waves such as produced by gentle waves washing ashore). As the song evolved, the word "rift", meaning a fissure in rock, or within a relationship, seemed far more fitting to the song's mood & thus replaced the original working title.
