…..And now, A NEW YEAR’S GIFT and a FEW WORDS, from LISA LARUE: .

…..” So here’s what I’ve done….”.

….. “ Most of my Facebook friends are PROGRESSIVE ROCK music fans, many of my own music. The last couple of years through all of my health issues, I’ve not done much with new music. “

…..” Many of the new and especially local friends don’t even know that I’ve been on covers of EUROPEAN MAGAZINES, interviewed WORLDWIDE, WON AWARDS, NOMINATED FOR AWARDS, and worked with many MUSICAL ICONS on my own MUSIC PROJECTS. “

…..” So, I’ve put a bunch of my music up for a ‘ RADIO STATION ,’ on SOUNDCLOUD, to stream some of my favorite work. Some of the tracks feature vocals by JOHN PAYNE ( Asia ), my husband JOHN BAKER ( Mars Hollow, Forever Twelve ) and MICHAEL SADLER ( Saga ), and MANY WONDERFUL MUSICIANS joining me ….. It’s me, on all keyboards, except for PROMETHEUS, on which the last ‘ half ‘ of the song is RYO OKUMOTO ( Spock’s Beard ). “

…..” On the Fantacone / LaRue pieces, of course, all keyboards are by both myself and FEDERICO FANTACONE. He would write a song, I’d orchestrate…. I’d write a song, he’d orchestrate. “

That’s what making an album is like these days….. “
