We are excited to officially announce that Italian progressive rock band, Barock Project, has been signed to ROSfest 2018 and will appear as the third band on Saturday, May 5th. The band was formed by keyboardist Luca Zabbini and developed as a unit in the first half of the 2000’s. Their breakthrough came in 2012 with the release of their third album, “Coffee In Neukölln”. Since then, interest in the band has soared worldwide strengthened by the quality of their most recent albums “Skyline” (2015) and “Detachment” (2017).
The band aims to create material with a foundation in classical (baroque) music, incorporating jazz harmonies and rock instruments explored within a pop music structure: A reinvention of the approach used by the seminal progressive rock bands of the 1970’s. The result is subtly quirky, but accessible and melodic progressive rock of the kind that hits home with progressive rock fans of all ages and across multiple interest groups within the progressive rock universe.
The foursome of Luca Zabbini, Marco Mazzuoccolo, Francesco Caliendo and Eric Ombelli are a proven quality live band as firmly documented on their live album, “Vivo” (2016). We are excited to be able to bring this band to the US. We regard Barock Project as the new bearer for the coming generations of progressive rock bands and know that their music will thrill the audience at ROSfest 2018.

We are pleased and excited to announce our fifth studio album, called “DETACHMENT”. Release on March 20, 2017. Worldwide. Produced and published by ARTALIA and 22R.
One full year of hard work, 12 new tracks, 74 minutes of music, many new sounds and joint composing and arrangement efforts to ensure a totally new approach and musical direction to the project.
Recorded and mastered in Italy in 2016 and early 2017, by Luca Zabbini at Crevalroad Studios, DETACHMENT features the musicians who made Skyline one of the best album of 2015 in Rock Progressive. Luca Zabbini (piano-keyboards-acoustic guitar-lead vocals), Francesco Caliendo (bass), Marco Mazzuoccolo (electric guitar) and Eric Ombelli (drums and percussion). Plus a very special Guest joining in to help make DETACHMENT a work to remember: Peter Jones, of Tiger Moth Tales, Camel, Red Bazar and Colin Tench project (and more…), signs the lyrics of 3 tracks and sings 2 of them!

Release Date: 1 October 2016.
Pink Moon Records will produce and distribute this special edition worldwide.
The band has only a limited stock of 50 copies available to be purchased with a special PLUS: Luca Zabbini’s autograph and a surprise download.

Melodic Revolution Records has brought together a collection of the best musicians from around the world to participate in the charity release “One Love! Music for Relief” which will be made available on September 9th 2016 via There is Hope Records a charity sub-label of Melodic Revolution Records.
Melodic Revolution Records strives to not only promote and release creative works of music by many of the best up and coming artists, but to also help those in need in our community and around the globe. The music donated will help raise money for the recent events in Baton Rouge Louisiana which has experienced catastrophic flooding and the devastating earthquake that struck Amatrice , and surrounding communities in the central region of Italy.
We were gratified by the outpouring of support from the music community. When we put forth a call to action for track donations to support – One Love! Music for Relief, t he immediate reaction from the musicians was “Yes we want to help anyway we can!” After the official announcement of One Love! Music for Relief, many more artists reached out in wanting to lend their support and the result is a digital album that has almost 3 hours of music with 30+ artists.
Our hope is that this release will not only raise some of the much needed money to help the survivors of these tragedies and their families, we also hope to continue to focus awareness on the human aspect of our existence long after the fickle media cycle has moved on. Yes there are natural disasters, unfortunately there is no short supply of these, but it is how we humans come together that is the true miracle of our existence. We cannot let these events S fall off our radar, we must continue to support our fellow humans as they begin to rebuild their lives. So yes the earthquake in Central Italy and catastrophic flooding in Louisiana have abated, but now the road to rebuilding has begun and we know that support will be needed for some time to come, There is Hope Records wants to ensure that support continues.
