After too long a wait we are pleased to announce the Dialogue Tour in the USA this summer. Howard (with his electric band) will be touring with his good friend Midge Ure .
On the upcoming tour, Howard states “I am beyond excited to be touring the US this summer with my great friend Midge Ure. The tour will be a celebration of being together, enjoying the power of live music again. Expect plenty of hit songs as well as cuts from my new album DIALOGUE”.
Midge Ure added, “What a joy to be touring North America with my friend Howard Jones again. With the emphasis on technology, quality and performance I am looking forward to dusting off the synthesizers, cranking up the guitar, and playing with the brilliant musicians who will be sharing the stage with me. We first collaborated live together back in 1989 on Howard’s ‘Cross the line Tour’ which holds nothing but great memories for me, so I am hoping to not only rekindle those but add new ones to the memory bank”.

Eva Prima Pandora written & composed, performed, mixed, mastered and produced by Steve Bonino.
About The song
The mythology of the painting by Jean Cousin dated 1550 titled:
Eva Prima Pandora
The author creates a curious symbiosis between a painting with a mythological theme and a painting with a religious theme. The work is identified by a poster that relates the mythological character of Pandora, the first woman and origin of the evils of the human race according to Greek mythology, with the biblical Eve, also a participant in the fall of the human race into sin.
In the painting are the symbols of the skull, alluding to the death related to the protagonist, the serpent entangled in the left arm, which recalls the biblical story of the serpent’s deception of Eve in Paradise, the branch of apple tree reminiscent of the forbidden fruit and the jug that points to Pandora’s box from which the evils of humanity emerged.
Since early Christian art was developed, the Greek myth was related to the biblical account of Genesis as both women, Eva and Pandora, symbols of curiosity and responsibility in the fall of the human being.
How EVA PRIMA PANDORA came about.
The creation of this album was inspired by Nick Katona, Owner of Melodic Revolution Records.
Nick called me one day “says Steve Bonino” with an idea for a collaborative album called ‘Troubleshooting Pandora’s Box’.
It would incorporate songs written and performed by various artists including Melodic Revolution Records artists and would center around the myth of Pandora’s Box, hopefully, to be released as an album on MRR, but would start out as individual songs being released as singles.
I submitted one song which he liked and I was inspired by the subject matter so I kept writing. I submitted a second, a third, a fourth, and after the sixth submission, all of which received his thumbs up, I approached Nick with the concept of releasing a complete ‘The Steve Bonino Project’ album based on the Pandora myth to be released on MRR. He kindly agreed and so here is ‘The Steve Bonino Project’ interpretation of the Pandora’s Box myth titled ‘Eva Prima Pandora ’.
I am back as years before, struggling to know if I missed any albums on this list, and the answer would be a resounding yes. Every year see thousands of releases just in the prog genre alone. It’s virtually impossible to discover and hear every prog release in any given year, so I did my best to showcase the cream of the crop, but then again I must point out these are one man’s points of view and will vary from publication and reviewer abroad. My taste in music is vast so I hope you all feel I have done justice by showcasing these 21 releases. The Un-qualified Critic

PATTERN-SEEKING ANIMALS, the California-based band featuring Ted Leonard (lead vocals & guitars), Jimmy Keegan (drums & vocals), Dave Meros (bass) and John Boegehold (keyboards), are pleased to announce the band’s third studio album titled Only Passing Through, to be released through InsideOutMusic on April 1st, 2022. The album is the follow up to the critically acclaimed 2020 release Prehensile Tales.
The band check in on the new album here: “Only Passing Through, our third album picks up where Prehensile Tales left off but soon takes several stylistic detours as it progresses. Everyone involved made this album a lot of fun to make and we’re all looking forward to it to finally being heard.” John Boegehold
“This new album draws from a lot of different sources and pushes all of us to bring out our best. We all had to dig pretty deep to express out the right spirit of each song. To call it Prog would be highly inadequate. We’re all over the map and yet, there is still a very distinct sound that threads through the whole album. I’m very proud of this record and excited for people to hear it!” Jimmy Keegan
Since taking up the reins of RoSFest, the new Board of Directors has frequently reiterated its desire to take the festival forward for many years into the future. Its motto “Music. Culture. Jon Anderson, a rock legend in his own right, with a career spanning over four decades, will be joined on stage by young and highly-talented musicians from the Paul Green Rock Academy. Jon Anderson requires little introduction, a founding member of Yes, his entire discography includes numerous solo albums and collaborations with a whole array of artists making him one of the most prolific musicians of our time. His 15th studio album released in 2019 and aptly titled ‘1000 Hands’ due to the numerous guest appearances that went into its creation, embodies a musical journey like no other.
The Rock Academy on the other hand is a “rock school dedicated to serious musicians” founded by American record producer, film producer, director, screenwriter, singer-songwriter, music teacher, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, Paul Green. Students aged 10-18 are selected based on their dedication to music, showmanship, love of performing, and ability to rock with actual pros.
Jon Anderson’s collaboration with the Academy dates back to 2005 and together they recently concluded an 11-city tour in the U.S.
