It’s been 26 years since JIMMY PAGE’S solo album ” OUTRIDER, ” conquered the world, with the incentive of a few OCCASIONAL LED ZEPPELIN REUNIONS, and other projects, throughout the decades, just to learn that this year, he’s PRACTICING HIS SIX & TWELVE STRING, in preparation of his NEXT SOLO ALBUM.

According to ROLLINGSTONE.COM as reported by PROGSPHERE.COM, here’s a summary of the LEGENDARY GUITAR GOD’S prospects:
INTERVIEWER: ” I’ve heard that you’re anticipating on a NEW SOLO ALBUM, for 2014. ”
JIMMY PAGE: “ Absolutely, absolutely, I definitely want to play live. Because, you know, I’ve still got a twinkle in my eye. I can still play. So, yeah, I’ll just get myself into musical shape, just concentrating on the guitar. “
” At the moment, I’m playing guitar daily, for the FORESEEABLE FUTURE, with a view towards getting to a point where I could play some gigs. What those gigs are going to be, I don’t know yet. I have ideas of what I want to do, but they’re pretty complex. I would love to play live again. I love playing live. It’s wonderful. “
“ I’ve got lots of material I’ve written on acoustic guitar. Lots and lots, and right now, I need to get myself up to speed, and that won’t take too long, but I don’t know what musicians I’d play with. I do have material and a passion for it. I need to work towards it, and now I can without all the other side issues going on. ”
INTERVIEWER: ” Will LED ZEPPELIN reunite anytime soon? ”
JIMMY PAGE: “ I was told last year that [singer] Robert Plant said he is doing nothing in 2014, and what do the other two guys think? Well, he knows what the other guys think. Everyone would love to play more concerts for the band. He’s just playing games, and I’m fed up with it, to be honest with you. I don’t sing, so I can’t do much about it. It just looks so unlikely, doesn’t it? “
“ People ask me nearly every day about a possible reunion. The answer is ‘ NO. ’ It’s been almost seven years since the O2. There’s always a possibility that they can exhume me and put me onstage in a coffin and play a tape. “
When ROBERT PLANT was inquired about a possible LED ZEPPELIN REUNION, here was his response:
ROBERT PLANT: “ You’re going back to the same old shit, besides, a tour would have been an absolute menagerie of vested interests and the very essence of everything that’s shitty about about big-time stadium rock. We were surrounded by a circus of people that would have had our souls on the fire. I’m not part of a jukebox! “
“ I don’t think there’s any reason for me to do that, otherwise, we’ve got nothing to be mystic about. . . Everything will develop as it develops. All doors are open. All phone lines are open. I don’t hear from anybody. Talk is cheap. . . But I just think everything has to be new. Then you can incorporate history. “
“ You can’t be the marriage guidance clinic here, besides, I’m not bored. ”
INTERVIEWER: ” Millions are still CELEBRATING your creation with LED ZEP. What do you think? ”
ROBERT PLANT: “ Good luck to them. I hope they’re having a real riveting and wonderful late middle age. Somehow I don’t think they are. “
