Magenta issue “Essential” – a Greatest Hits album
We’ve decided to put a Greatest Hits of Magenta together. So many times we have people coming up to us to say that they didn’t even know we existed, and then discover the band and become fans for life. So the purpose of this album, is to have something that we can point music lovers to. It’s available on all good (and not so good) platforms. ITunes,Spotify, etc, etc. It’s also available as a free download at the bands Magenta Bandcamp site.
This is a FREE Magenta sampler, the essential Magenta tracks.
PLEASE share this link to widen the awareness of the music of Magenta.

So, with just under a week until our semi-acoustic gig at Acapela Studios, near Cardiff, we thought we’d better let you in on what we have planned. We will be joined for the evening by oboist Karla Powell and cellist Emma Bryden. We’re hoping the addition of oboe and cello will certainly add some beautiful textures and make the evening very special indeed. We’ll be playing some of our lesser performed songs which will fit nicely alongside some old favourites which will no doubt benefit from the added personnel. YES there maybe even a well known cover !?
But besides the Magenta set, we have so much more in store for you.
Our own Mr Fry will perform some of his songs from ‘Composed’. Joining him will be our good friend Pete Jones from Tiger Moth Tales fame.
There’ll also be a set of songs from Christina’s two solo albums, which I’m sure will be a treat for you.
Rob has planned some ditties from his ‘Sanctuary’ albums and also you’ll witness a ‘World Exclusive’, as for the first time you’ll get to hear some amazing songs from Rob’s ‘Kompendium’ project.
We all feel that this is going to be a very special evening indeed and we believe that there are still some tickets remaining so hope to see as many of you as possible.
Christina, Rob & Chris
