Daniele Liverani to Release “Incomplete” a New Concept Album

Multi-instrumentalist Daniele Liverani (formerly EMPTY TREMOR, GENIUS ROCK OPERA, KHYMERA, TWINSPIRITS, PRIME SUSPECT, COSMICS) is working on the production of a new concept album which will be titled “Incomplete”.

“Incomplete” represents for Liverani the return to the production/composition of sung music, after 10 years of exclusively instrumental music: (Eleven Mysteries (2012), Fantasia (2014), A Kind Of Soul (2014), An Innocent challenge (2016), Worlds Apart (2019), and various other orchestral compositions).

The lyrics of the album will be recorded by American singer Jack Seabaugh, a revelation multi-instrumentalist/arranger of recent years, with a recently released solo album entitled “Neon Sky” to his credit.

The drums will be recorded by Simon Ciccotti (Ex DE LA MUERTE, drummer for the RUSSEL ALLEN’s Metal For Autism Tour 2017, TURBULENCE, PAREIDOLIA) in the recently created “Ciccotti Brothers” studio.

The rest of the instruments will be recorded/arranged by Daniele.

The album will also contain, as bonus tracks, the recording of the “Concerto for violin and orchestra in D Major n.1” in three movements, entitled “Impetus”, composed by Liverani in 2017/2018, performed by the German violinist Tonio Geugelin.

The album will be released/distributed through Landr exclusively for the digital market (Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play, Amazon Music, Deezer, Tidal, and many others). The publication is scheduled for autumn 2021.

Here is the tracklist and the cover of the album:

1-I Dream Of Me
2-How I Feel
3-I Won’t Cry
4-Incomplete
5-Get Out Of My Way
6-Hopefully
7-I’ll Change My Life
8-Keep The Faith
9-Move On
10-In My Heart

Bonus tracks: “Concerto for violin and orchestra in D Major n.1” “Impetus”
11-Impetus
12-Aiming For Peace
13-Millennials

Aeon Zen unveils album details, artwork, and pre-order for new release!

Aeon Zen have announced that their new album will be titled ‘Transversal‘ and is scheduled for release on the 24th of September 2021!

The band has described the album as a very special release for a number of reasons. Main writer and founder Rich Gray had the following to say:

“It’s true, the upcoming Aeon Zen release will be our last. Aeon Zen has been a wonderful adventure, but it is also time for new journeys to be written. Instead of letting the band die a silent death, we wanted to make one final, monumental, release to go out with a bang!

“Transversal is the most complete piece of music I have ever written, a single song that spans the entire album. 14 years in the making, its composition began before Aeon Zen even existed and has finally been completed in 2021 as Aeon Zen’s conclusion. This release encompasses all that made, and still makes, Aeon Zen what it is and we can’t wait to share this with you all!”

With NMB’s previous two releases being concept albums, it’s perhaps remarkable that Innocence & Danger is a series of unrelated songs, but drummer Mike Portnoy says “After two sprawling back to back double concept albums in a row, it was refreshing to get back to writing a collection of unrelated individual songs in the vein of our first album.”

Indeed, making this album came easy to the band; while the initial inspiration came particularly from Bill Hubauer (keyboards) and Randy George (bass), the ideas flowed from everybody from there on, as George recalls: “I am excited about the level of collaboration that we achieved on this one. We even went in with a lot of ideas that weren’t necessarily developed, and I think in the end we have something that represents the best of everybody in the band.”

In fact – like its two acclaimed predecessors – Innocence & Danger is a double album by inspiration, rather than design, as Portnoy explains: “As much as we wanted to try and keep it to a single album after having just done two double albums, we wrote so much material that we found ourselves with our third double album in a row! That’s pretty prog!”

There is also plenty in Innocence & Danger to excite those prog fans who have a thirst for epics, as Neal Morse explains: “There’s one half hour epic and another that’s about 20 minutes long. I really didn’t realize that they were that long when we were recording them, which I guess is great because if a movie is really good, you don’t realize that it’s three hours long! But there are also some shorter songs: some have poppier elements, some are heavier and some have three part acoustic sections. I’m excited about all of it, really.”

NMB (Neal Morse Band) is
Neal Morse (vocals, keyboards and guitars)
Mike Portnoy (drums, vocals)
Randy George (bass)
Eric Gillette (guitars, vocals)
Bill Hubauer (keyboards, vocals)

Brazilian Prog-Rock Band PENTRAL Release New Video The Shell I’m Living In

BRAZIL (June 16, 2021) — PENTRAL announce the release of the second video, The Shell I’m Living In, from their album “What Lies Ahead Of Us”. The video was premiered on BraveWords and is now available worldwide. You can watch the video here

Lead singer Victor Lima discussed the new video, “The Music video was recorded in our home town in Brazil – Belem, with many shots taken from the historic center of the city and some scenes in flashback from the previous recordings in the woods nearby, and the band playing in the forest as well. We had some issues doing that because many scenes were captured in the middle of people who were in their ordinary working days. This was intentional to make it more authentic, as many people there were doing their own things, and we naturally paid attention not to show anyone’s clear image without their previous approval. The recordings of “The Shell I’m Living In” took us a couple of days. We’ve been graced with amazing days and nights, brilliant acting performances from the actresses Anne and Duda, an inspiring direction by Roger Elarrat and beautiful Photography by Lucas Escocio. The whole team was incredible  and emotive, and this intense atmosphere really stood out through the video.”

“What Lies Ahead Of Us” Track Listing:

1 – Silent Trees
2 – All My Wounds
3 – Disconnected
4 – Letters From Nowhere
5 – Aiming For The Sun
6 – A Gift From God
