Dear music lovers, friends and random passers by!
I’m very thrilled to come up to you all with an update, letting you know that not only the conception and the major part of lyrics for the next Transport Aerian album are already written, and waiting to be brought to the physical form, but as well, I managed to work through most of the basic instrumental parts, the skeletons of the future songs. The songwriting process shifted a couple of times from utterly song-based ideas to almost cinematic seamless canvas, and I gave the priority to the latter. Some quite productive days and weeks in my home studio and in several rented acoustically-sophisticated rooms have brought me enough certain musical material to fulfill the goal of introducing you to the musical journey, which will be based on the surrealist self-penned story of exile, self-isolation and love. Unlike my other efforts, this album has the plot and it revolves around the interaction between two characters. This urged me to get a second musician involved into this studio album, a singer and a narrator who will play the role of one of the crucial characters in this musical story. While her identity remains incognito, I can already present you a small snippet of the very first minute of the very first song of the album. This is how the story starts. How will it develop?
We shall see.

Dear friends, music lovers and random passers by!
Some time ago I have announced that Transport Aerian is working on the new album. The songwriting phase has been finished and now I’m slowly proceeding to the recording stage. Whereas the musical, visual and other possible updates are still to come, I am willing to already share the set list with you. In the conceptual album, every song is a part of the story. And the bits of this incoming story are reflected in the titles of the songs, as for me – the meaning and the idea stand above the glittering thrill of the form.
DARKBLUE tracklist:
1. Black
2. Full Body Access
3. Sand Horizon
4. Imperial
5. Crossbreed
6. Sniper
7. Epitaph
8. Happy With The Future

It is time for a very exciting update!
As you probably already know, I have started working on the new album. So, to be short, there are some facts that I’m already ready to share with you!
– It will be a conceptual album, with an actual story, which is to be unveiled throughout the 8 musical pieces, representing the different points of view on certain events. Which? I will reveal it later. Or maybe not.
– While most of the instrumental parts and all the production work I will handle myself, this album will feature a very special guest musician, whose participation will represent one of the crucial characters of the storyline
. – It is going to be slightly more intimate and haunting soundwise, yet staying on this dark edge, by which Transport Aerian’s music is recognized.
– The release date is not set, but it will be the late 2015, on Melodic Revolution Records and will be available world-wide.
– The album title is Darkblue. And here is the first video spoiler.

A little bit more than a year ago, when I have finished all the necessary work on what you know as Bleeding, I already knew: it was something unusual. I knew that regardless of the commercial success or inferiority that this project could potentially bring, it appeared to be a reasonable contribution to the new music, to the development of progressive rock in only acceptable understanding of this term. And I guess, I wasn’t wrong, as with this album Transport Aerian has finally achieved a several important goals: getting signed to the record label, which, fortunately, is slightly and far out of the local level, and, above everything, is not other than Melodic Revolution Records, which I have always considered to be a dream place for the independent and progressive artists, such as myself. I finally found out that Transport Aerian has made it to ProgArchives. Critical response was surprisingly positive, as well. Additionally, an HD version of the album has been released, as a bow and due respect to the truly dedicated sound appreciators.
The typical problem about making the piece of music that receives a high score in the relevant music press and that utterly and entirely satisfy your own artistic needs is starting the next one. My principle in making music has always been – and remains – that every single new record, I’m getting involved in, should contain something I have never done before, and, preferably, something that nobody else did. I must confess: for a time I was in a doubt if I ever can make something better. But the working process has started. The first lines of the lyrics, the first sketches of concept, the first notes and the first elements of arrangements started falling into a place, irresistebly. After about a couple of months of putting the bits together, I can only admit: what starts taking the shape is definitely something new and, as I primarily make music for myself – quite exciting. And I hope soon I’ll be able to tell and show you more.
But everything at the time.

Transport Aerian is primarily a studio project. It was created that way back in the days, and its goal is remaining to make the music, the art without boundaries or genre limits, and just saying out loud what we are supposed to say. I must admit, however, me and the fellow musicians who ever worked with the project – different at different times – always enjoyed live shows, the vibe of the people, thinking individuals rather than merely a crowd, witnessing the transmitted message, understanding and comprehending it, feeling it with us right here and now.
This feeling can’t compare with anything else and the experience of performing and interacting with those who enjoy it is unique and worth keeping it all up even through the hardest times. At this incarnation we have decided that a two-piece line up would provide enough room for experiments, yet make our stage performances more concentrated on the poetry of two musicians interaction and is aimed more to the intimate and listening audiences.
We enjoyed to play quite some shows this year, met many fascinating musicians and music lovers. I know not everyone of those who would love to see us live could attend and that is why we recorded a live album that you can find here. Besides that, we want to share this blog post with you – with some pictures and videos of our performance experiences with our Love.Blood.Live program supporting the album Bleeding this year. I hope you’ll enjoy them just like we did.
